This reply deals only with your paragraph concerning Rev. Thomas McPherrin about whom I have been gathering info in the hope of finding a relationship. I am trying to find out Rev. Thomas parents so I can establish a relationship. A brief note I have lists Rev. Thomas' father as a Josiah McPherrin, but no proof. I had no knowledge that Rev. Thomas had had two daughters probably by a previous marriage nor do I have a list of descendents of Rev. Thomas.
The Sarahs and Ruths I have are born too late. I do have a biography of Rev. Thomas that deals with his working years only and OK, but leaves a lot to be desired for our purposes.
The subject of your message was William McFarren. I have a proved ancestor, William, b. abt 1746 and d. abt. 1815 in Jefferson, Ohio. He was married to a Mary. This William was the son of John McFarrin, b. abt 1698 and d. abt. 1781 in York Co., PA.
Wish I could be of more help. John W. McPherrin
