I am new to genealogy and I am so confused by the two mix up with the John B. McFerrin's. Maybe someone can help me. My grandfather was Benjamin Eugene McFerrin III. I am looking for the father of Benjamin Eugene McFerrin I. He was born 1874 and died 1955 in Newton County Ark. He was into politics, and very religious, farmer, etc. I think his father is one of the John B.'s (Berry- Baird - etc) but not sure which one and how much of their information is correct on rootsweb. He is somehow connected to the John B. Book. However, I cannot figure out how.
1. Father of B.E. Mcferrin I?
2. How is he related to John B. McFerrin (the author of the book).
