Can anyone help me with information concerning Eleanor Duncan McFerrin? She was born in Virginia Aug. 25, 1800 and died Jan. 12, 1886 in Rienzi, Mississippi. She is the daughter of William McFerren who was born in York Co., PA in 1755 and died in Marshall Co., Mississippi in 1845. Eleanor Duncan McFerrin had seven brothers and sisters, one of whom was James McFerrin (my ancestor) who was married to Jane Campbell Berry. I have a childhood friend who is related to Eleanor Duncan. We have just discovered that we are distant cousins! thanks Carol Smith
