I am a descendant of this McFee family. John Smith married Sarah McFee about 1826 in Harrison Co., OH. Sarah was the daughter of John McFee, wife unknown. Sarah had brothers, Fielding, Thornton, William and others. William McFee settled in Martin Co., IN. Fielding and Thornton went westward into Keokuk Iowa. I have old letters 1855-1860) that talk about the McFee brothers.
