Allen is my gggrandfather and had 5 children. Arthur, Harry, Cora Belle, William H Seward, and May. My grandfather was Arthur who married Florence Bradley either in Coles Co. Il or St. Louis Co. Mo. I know his father was John Mcfee who married Nancy Dwyer or Davis and is thought to be from Ireland. I know Allen is buried in Valley Grove Cemetery, Brookville in Franklin Co. Indiana. He had a home in Cedar Grove Ind. for a while. We are planning a trip to Brookville soon to search for more info. I would appreciate any help I can get as we have hit a brick wall at Allen. Allen Lived in Cookstown Pa which later became Fayette City Pa. Records show that he ran a toll gate and is listed as a carpenter.
