Me again; was just wondering if you have tried to find Mary in the 1840 census? It seems to me that this would help immensely with a few of your questions. You probably already have, but I just had to ask. My only other suggestion is to locate and order her certificates for birth/marriage/death.

Probably stupid suggestions, but it makes me feel that I am helping. ;)
