Searching for parents of Frances Loesa McFarlin born June 1837 in Ohio. Frances married Horace Sawyer in 1855 in Porter County, Indiana. They later lived in Illinois. McFarlins thought to be of Scotish descent. Is there a family name of TIPTON in the McFarlins?? Frances' daughter used the name Tipton as a middle name for one of her sons.
