My ancestor is Michael McFarlane/d who was born in Ireland abt. 1811, he married Ann Hart in Ireland circa 1843 and came to Canada around 1850 with his family that included children; MaryAnn, John, Patrick, Joseph. They lived in the York region. One son, Joseph Patrick, married Mary Gilruth while another son, Michael Joseph, married Ann Downs. These two were both wagon makers and carriage builders.
