I am looking for the descendants of Charles McFalls (b. 1863) and Bridget Cairns (1863-1905) who wre married in 1883 in Edinburgh. Their children were Catherine (1884), Elizabeth (1886), Bridget (1892), Mary (1894) and Charles (1896). Charles married Mary Rafferty in 1920.
Both Charleses were open-cast coal miners, living in a small village outside Airdrie in the parish of New Monkland.
Bridget Cairns was my gt-grandfather's sister. He lost touch with her family after her death in 1905. (Her husband was illiterate).
Some photos were passed down in the family, which were sent to him in 1902. They might be Bridget, Catherine and Elizabeth, but we can't be sure.
