We believe we are the descendants of McFadden slaves on the plantation of Robert H McFadden in Greensboro, Green County, Alabama but all born in South Carolina (Edward or Ned (b. 1800), Jennie or Jemmie (b.1775), Edward or Ned (b.1824) Pompey (b.1820), in South Carolina. As you can imagine, it's been difficult to find info on the slaves. We would love any help or guidance you may provide.
PS. We will be visiting AL next month to do some more genealogy research and would love advice.
