Looking for information about Sarah McEwen who married a man named Morrison (1775 - c1845) in the late 1700's. Mr. Morrison was from England. The couple lived in Allegheny, PA where Mr. Morrison is said to have run a hotel, and had the following children:
Harriet E b. 1808
Charles H
Samuel
Sarah
Thompson
unknown son
There may have been a connection with a family named Wilson.
Harriett married William Johnson in Pickaway Co.,OH in 1842.
The other siblings ended up in Burlington Iowa in the late 1800's.
Any information about these people will be greatly appreciated.
