"Descendants of Robert McEwen and Sarah Wilcoxson, Stratford, CT" compiled and edited by Ruth McEwen Coleman

[Note: There are copies of this book at the Western Reserve Historical society in Cleveland, Ohio and also at the Fort Wayne, IN library.]

Part III
Unrelated and unidentified lines and records
"The following records are taken from the fifty year old files of George Sherman McEwen; as well as correspondence with a number of people with whom information was exchanged on McEwen lines."

Page 207: "From: Photocopied page 413 of "Boardman "Genealogy", by Charlotte Goldwaite (no date given): J. Baxter McEwen, " Unidentified.
"Rev. Chas. Boardman of New Milford [CT], b. 19 Nov. 1788 m. Sophie Hine of New Milford, dau. of Noble and Margaret (Noble) Hine. He was called to the church in New Preston [CT]. Their daughter, Orinda Boardman married J. Baxter McEwen."

Hope that helps as I have no more on this family.

Cordially,
Bruce McEwen
