Hello,
I did not do my homework very well. I have found by looking at other censuses that J. Andrew Mcewen is "James Andrew Mcewen."
The census shows that he is the sone of James H. McEwen. As Harvey is a common name in our family, I believe this might be James Harvey McEwen.
Is there any way I can confirm this. Visiting various websites, it seems there may have been two James Harvey McEwens b. about 1850. James is commoon, but not Harvey.
Any help appreactiated
