Since my earlier reply, I have done further
research on my family line. I have an Alexander McEwen (shown as McQueen) christened May 15, 1799, Alloa,Clackmannan Scotland, who was the son of Alexander McEwen (have not traced this far back). The names Thomas and Alexander are prevalent throughout this McEwen line.
