MICHAEL MCEVOY Prisoner 25-Jul-1832 1803 QUEEN'S CO LAOIS (QUEEN'S) Prison Registers 1790-1924
Information so far has revealed........
Michael was born in County Queens Ireland in 1804, give or take.
At this time the records that I have been able to find does not confirm his exact true identity. However in saying that there are too many coincidences for it not to be. From what I have found Michael McEvoy aka McAvoy sailed to Port Jackson on the ship Roslin Castle 2 (or perhaps 5 depending on hand writing.) The ship sailed from Cork and arrived in Port Jackson on the 25 February 1936.
