I have Lawrence McEvoy marrying Elizabeth Dunne in Middletown, CT in 1851 and having Matthew McEvoy in 1852. My assumption is that they came from County Laois in the late 1840's but cannot make the connection. Would love to go back to Ireland to trace my roots. Anyone able to help?
