I am looking for any other McEvoys that are from Roscommon County, Ireland. I have been told that McEvoys in that area are very rare and most likely, related. My ancestor John Patrick (or vice versa) McEvoy was born in Roscommon around 1850 and came over to the United States with his brother Hugh Joseph McEvoy shortly thereafter. John Patrick died in Darien, Georgia between 1906 and 1909. For more info, see post #119 on page two.
