My g-g-grandfaher William Tedford Mcentyre/Mcintire came from the McEntyres of Rutherford Co NC. His daughter Annie McEntyre Norfleet left Georgia after the Civil War, for Miss. then eventually Yell Co Arkansas. For a while she had a relative or hired man living in her home named William McEntire. I am looking for information from Dan McEntyre about Rutherford Co. McEntyres.I also seek info on the Thomas Lafayette McEntyre family who took the name of Black and traveled from Miss. to Alabama. Thomas was with Annie, his sister, in Miss. around 1870s.
