McEntee Family Genealogy Forum

My great-grandmother was a Mary Elizabeth McEntee, born 1847. She lived in NYC for some period -- her oldest child was born there. She had 4 brothers, named John, Philip, Patrick, and Bernard. That is the sum total of the knowledge I have of them, except that they all died before 1927 (my great-aunt Mamie Dunne nee Mcentee wrote a genealogy out for my mother in 1927).
My g-GM also had 2 sisters, Helena B. Mason (nee McEntee) and Rosanna Johnson nee McEntee. They continued to live in NYC. According to my mother's recollection, her Grandmother continued to visit them every year until her death in 1930.
Does this strike any chords with you? I haven't yet been able to get any leads on any of them, not in US censuses or anything. (My g-GM and her children show up in 1910, 1920, and 1930, but none of the others.) Come to think of it, I don't think I was looking at the NJ census. I'll have to take a look. But the sisters don't show up in NY.
However, the names and location are similar.
