Is your Lillie Hoskins related to the Hoskins line in Denton County, Texas? I have Margaret Sparks who married Sheby(?) Talley in Denton County; her sister married a Hoskins; most of the Sparks-Hoskins family eventually lived near Enid in Garfield County, Oklahoma. One branch of this Hoskins line had lived in Kansas before settling near their Texas born cousins near Enid.

James Lewis Sparks, father of the Sparks sisters, was born in Kentucky, along with his two full brothers; they left Missouri and settled on Stewart Creek in Denton County about 1853. There might be a connection between the Sparks and Hoskins lines in Kentucky.
