Any one know of Cornelius & Mary (Durning) McElwee from Lattimer Mines, PA? They lived there from around 1880 to about 1909. They then moved to Philadelphia. Cornelius was born in Ireland on June 16, 1864 to John McElwee & Margaret
McGlynn. Mary was born in Ireland Dec. 25, 1862 to Arthur Durning & Anna McGlynn. Cornelius & Mary had 6 children that lived that I know of:
Mary, born Nov. 20, 1883
John, born Sept.24, 1886
James, born May 9, 1889
Cornelius, born Oct., 4,1893
Daniel, born Sept. 22, 1897
Loretta, born August 9, 1900
All of the children were born in Hazleton according to the Baptismal certificates. Both Cornelius Sr. and Jr. both were
sometimes called, "Condy". Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any info would be helpful.
