Margaret McElwee born March 27, 1801 in Tennessee married John Howdershell on May 14, 1829. John Howdershell was born in 1796. Margarets father was David McElwee. I have seen another Margaret McElwee married to another John Howdershell. This Margaret McElwee is the daughter of George McElwee born 1801 in Virginia. Does anyone have any info on this marriage?
