ON the computer they have William J as married to Lydia, I did get confused, but along time back I got the information from my Aund. Pearlie's name is William Beauford Pearlie McElwee, son of William O McElwee, married to Lydia Myers, his father is W W McElwee, William Worsley, married to Lydia Filley and, his father is George McElwee, born 1801 in Virginia. I got some information from someone who e-mail and found it in The Life and Adventures of the McElwees, this would be the McElwee's I'm kin to. Anyway George was married to Elizabeth ? had alot of children, then about 1836 moved to Missouri, at this time his wife was Nancy ?. Elizabeth must of died. Nancy had alot of children too. Now if anyone can help me with George, Elizabeth, Nancy, I would be greatful. I did find that George is on the Computer as George McElewee, and so are alot of his children.Issac and Adam are on as McElwee, three I can't find. So if anyone knows anything about George McElwee (McElewee) please let me know. Hope this helps some people.
