McElwaine of County Cavan Ireland

Is anyone out here researching the McElwaine's that lived in County Cavan, Ireland in the 1800's? I am researching the family of Robert McElwaine and Elizabeth Beattie from Greaghadossan, Killinkere, Cavan. We think that 2 of their sons, Robert and William, went to Australia...several other children, Andrew, Samuel, Eliza, Mary Anne/ Minnie, and Sarah came to the United States to the New York area...three others, James, Tom, and John remained in Ireland,...and 2 others, Lydia and Joseph I have been unable to trace. There are numerous other McElwaine's in that area of Cavan but we have been unable so far to tie them clearly together. If anyone out there can help, please let me know.
