I am new to genealogical research and am looking for information on my paternal grandmother, Mary or Mittie McElreath. She was the wife of William Telfair Wood and they lived in the Marysville, Texas, area in 1908 when my father was born. I know nothing about her or her family except that she was Irish and she died when my father was ten or so, about 1918. Since you are in the same county and researching the McElreath family, I thought you might have some information you could share with me or some help as to how I might find out about her. I don't know her birthdate or where she is buried, but it is possible that it is in Cooke county somewhere. If you can help me find my grandmother that I never knew, I would greatly appreciate it.
