There was never a famine in Ireland!
Ireland is a green and fertile country with more than its fair share of rain.
The truth is that the English were exporting millions of tons of grain , wheat, barley etc to England and letting the Irish starve. Potatoes were introduced into this country and were all the 'bogtrotting micks' were allowed to eat.
Starvation was a great way for england to use the Irish as breeding stock for their colonies in Australia and America.
This is another reason why England got the order from the united states that they were to stop killing catholics in Northern Ireland. You see, these 'bogtrotting mick' convicts rebelled in the American colony and kicked the english back top bloody 'blighty'. 40,000,000 Irish Americans and countless Ozzies of Irish descent are a force to be reckoned with.
