My grandfather was born in 1895 or 1896. He spent most of his life in Thetford Mines, Quebec. Thetford Mines is not far from Leeds, Quebec. He had a brother Thomas, sisters Edith, Annie, Jenny - among others - can't remember all their names. He married Catherine McGuire. They both had relatives living in Claremont, New Hampshire.

My mother is Annie McElreavy (Fortin). I grew up in Sherbrooke, Quebec and then moved to Ottawa in 1978. I have six siblings.
