The Peter McElhinney you are referring to is my grandfather (my father was also called Peter and he is also buried in Dungiven). I think I have come across your name before as someone who was researching the McElhinney family tree in Donegal. How did you get on. I have found out quite a bit about Peter McElhinney's father who was called Bernard. He spent most of his life in the parish of Tullyfern in Donegal and had 10 children.
