Recently discovered my GG Grandmother Sarah MCELHINNEY, b
betw. 1810 - 1820 - married to James BOYLE, lived in
the Townland of Killhill,Bellanascaddan, Nr.Letterkenny,
Kilmacrenan - Co.Donegal - Children of this union - that I know off :
Anne BOYLE b abt 1850 - m - William McHugh/McCue
Remained in Ireland
Henry BOYLE b 1850's? - m - Anne/a FINNEGAN - Philadelphia? - then to South Dennis, Cape May - New Jersey
(children - James/Francis (Frank) Charles (Charlie/y) Ellen
and Mary.
Charles BOYLE m - Jiley/Giles McFadden - lived in Killhill,
Bellanascaddan, Nr.Letterkenny, Kilmacrenan.
two sons - James b Killhill, 1874'ish - John b 1879.
Sarah BOYLE (my G Grandmother) - b abt 1855/56 - m Patrick
MCHUGH/MCCUE - 25th January 1874 - St.Columba's RC Church,
Kilmacrenan Co.Donegal, thereafter to Glasgow - Scotland.
Children:
Patrick 1875 - remained in Scotland
James 1877 - d 1881 Scotland
Sarah 1878 - thereafter to Philadelphia. m Mr. McLaughlan/lin - 1 son Crnelius b abt 1908 PA.
2nd marriage - James Medlen/lin/lem - PA - children
Sarah - Mary - Daniel
John 1881 - died 1904 Scotland
Hannah 1884 - m Dan Carlin - then to Vancouver,Canada
Martha - 1884 - m Patrick Flaherty -Philadelphia? then to Philadelphia.
David 1886- m Martha Simpson 1907 - Glasgow - then to GESU Parish - Philadelphia
Maggie 1890 - m - Steve Cloonan - Philadelphia
Charles 1892 (my Grandfather) m Maria McNamara (remained in Glasgow)
Robert 1894 - m Hannah Crossan - 1917 - Philadelphia
Mary 1899 - Spinster - remained in the UK.
I have hit the proverbial brickwall.. with my Mcelhinney
line - any help greatfully received.
