If you are descended from John McElhinney and Sarah (Sally) Campbell of County Donegal, then we have common lineage. My paternal grandmother was Mary Ann McElhinney and lived most of her life in Wilmington, passing in 1955.

I lived in Newark most of my life and recently relocated to North Carolina.

There was a John Robert McElhinney, also in Newark, whose grandfather was John Hamilton McElhinney (your grandfather as well?) that was searching for information a few years ago. I've been unable to contact him as his email address has changed.
