Robert McElhinney is my 5th Great Grand Father on my Father's side. My Grandmother thinks Robert may have had 3 wives: Hannah Noble, Elizabeth Achibald, and Margaret Campbell. If that is true then John Noble McElhinney is more likely the product of Robert's 1st marriage. I am starting to help Grandma with her research but as yet can't say I've "proof" of anything. I can't swear she has proof of anything either, especially that far back. Would like to hear what you have and am willing to tell what I have so far from my Grandmother.
