I am looking for member of the McElhinney Famiy who had relatives who lived in Oglethrope County, Georgia. My Great,Great Great grandmother Mary McElhinney, may have lived in the Town of Maxey,or a town near by in Ogethrope County, Georgia, prior to 1870.
She was married to a George Brittion and from that union a daughter named Phobe Ann Britton was born . She, Phobe Ann, in turn married Jas/James Hardeman, and from that union five children were born.
