While researching my grandmother's family, I found a distant cousin, Michael Quillman was married to Sarah Buckley (of Clinton,Town of Kirkland, NY) and her mother was Sarah McElhinney (of Waterville, Town of Marshall, NY). She was the daughter of William J. and Margaret Shields McElhinney. They had eight other children including William N., James, Daniel E., twins, John A. and Thomas, Hugh, Nicholas B., and Alice. Most of the family is buried in St. Bernard's Cemetery in Waterville, NY. Look in the Oneida County, NY GenWeb site under cemeteries, town of Sangerfield. Also, under Bios., there are two brief articles on Daniel and Nicholas. I have some other information I'd gladly share.
