Carol, my Catherine Anne McEachern was born about 1853 so I don't think we are a match. Not that they might not be related. I have yet to find out if her father, Donald, came over with other relatives. Maybe your first Catherine is a sister or cousin of his. I have recently been contacted by one of 'Alexanders' descendants, so maybe I will be able to gather some more information there. Do you happen to know if your Catherine was related to either of the Bishop MacEachern's of PEI? Bishop Malcolm Angus was a relative - if that's any good to you and I have some information that indicates the first Bishop Bernard McEachern of Charlottetown could have been an ancestor of his - another lead I am following up on.

Also, I have checked my tree for any Daniel Chisholm or Roderic McLean, but did not find either.

Good Luck,
Jo-Anne
