Looking for any information on Peter Watkins and Catherine McDuffie. Peter was born about 1793 in Duplin Co., NC, said to have married Catherine McDuffie. Who were their parents? Did they move to MS? A Peter Watkins was in the 1830 census for Hinds Co., MS. He died ca. 1838 supposedly leaving a will (which hasn't been found yet). His estate was left to Catherine who was to make inventory. Would appreciate any information on Peter and Catherine of NC or Peter and Catherine of MS.
