My maternal grandmother was Mary Ann McDuffie, born in Geneva Co., Al. 29 Jul 1855. Her parents were John McDuffie and Mary Ann Garrison. Mary Ann Garrison died in childbirth. The child's name was Mary Ann McDuffie. Mary Ann Garrison's parents were Rev. David Garrison and Mary Ann Gilbert.After Mary Ann Garrison died John McDuffie remarried. All records point to Mary Ann McDuffie living with her maternal Grandparents, The Garrisons. She was listed as living with them in the 1860 census. After that no record can be found until she married Jasper Cuthriell in about 1873 in Alabama. I would like to know what happened to Mary Ann McDuffie in the in between years. I anyone know this, please let me know. I would greatly appreciate any information.
