Since finding your reply, this morning, I sent the information you gave me to Bill Mutch, (on the ANCESTRY MESSAGE BOARDS)..as Bill is charged with finding as many McDuffee descendants as reach him..as to
how you find WorldConnect: the URL is: http://worldconnect.rootsweb
.com/
There are many people who have submitted their McDuffee lineage..
If you want to know the whole story of Martha Mansfield McDuffee: you
should go to the Macfie/McDuffee website..it tells the part she played
in keeping our Scotch ancesters, who were living in Londonderry, Ire.,
in the late 1680's..from starving, by laying aside an amount of meal,
and producing it at the time of the Siege...A few years later: @1718-20 the majority of our Scots left Ireland and went to the new world..
mainly: New Hampshire, Maine, New York, and Massachusetts..then to the
southern states,etc.
It seems as though the LDS site has more info' on your line than
anything on the internet..it may be that we all have different ways of
achieving our information, but do not "knock it"..some of your line
just may not be using any internet webs..and so you may not find anything at this time..however! Don't give up..look how long ago I wrote the note to which YOU replied...There are new people looking for
the same informtion that you are : all the time..Keep Looking!!
