Looking for more information on the
McDuffee families of
West Park, Dunluce Parish, Co. Antrim,
Ireland prior to 1850.
Looking for the parents of my ggg grandfather...William McAfee Sr. (McDuffee) b. 1777 who married
Margaret "Martha" Taggart in 1802.
They were Presbyterians and farmers.
Children include:
Samuel b. 12/25/1804
James b. 1809
John
Robert
William Jr.
Martha Jane (McQuigg)
Mathew b. 1823 (my gg grandfather)
William McAfee Sr. & family emigrated to
Wayne Co, Ohio in 1838 & 1839.
McAfee is interchangeable with McDuffee.
Any information appreciated.
