Hi Myrna,

I have a missing GGGrandmother, from Scotland, born possibly in 1812. I believe she could have been named Anne or May. I do not know her maiden name. On my GGrandfather's census records, he always stated "born at sea coming from Scotland". If she married at age 20, it would have been 1832 and he was born in 1842. My missing Scottish GGGrandmother married a Mr. Fowler and there is a possibility he would have been in Canada or Michigan at that time. Could your Anne have been born on the way to Nova Scotia?

Darline Fowler Smith
