I read the article about Officer McDuff in the DMN this morning. I found what I believe may be his family in 1880. If this is the same William McDuff, he was born abt 1831. Please note - I added the (born abt 1831, etc. to the census listing). I also checked the 1900 census, trying to find one of the children listed in the 1880 census, but I didn't have any luck.
