Dear Cousin Shirley, et Pierre,

Your ancestor Louis-Charles McDuff,n. 9,Feb. 1795 at Varennes, Quebec married both 1# Therese Gauthier, 2# Louise Pariseau dit Dalpe, is my ancestor Michel McDuffs brother b. 3, Oct.1797 at Boucherville. Chamby Co. Quebec.Married M.Julie Riendeau-dit Joachim.

Which would make Pierre F. my 5th Cousin,I beleive. You would be my 5TH 1 removed?

Any ways that it. By the way your ancestor couldn't have been in the Queens own relfs they were mustered out of Upper Canada. Very Very unlikely. BUT i will check a book we have here at the Springfield Library. In its French-Canadian collection is a list of all those in Quebec who enlisted from 1848-1870. This list about 3/4's of all enlisted.

Votre Cousin Ron
