Frank, just started entering info in "". Saw your message on the McDow forum. Did you ever find info in the Ida Rodman book? (I don't have this) There is a book by John Cunningham McDow, Sr. out of Lancaster, South Carolina, that has written an update to Ida's book. There should be a copy with the Church of Latter Day Saints and a copy with the South Carolina Genelogy Library.

I have set up a McDow Family web page at "". It is password protected, by invitation only. I would like to have anyone who is interested in searching the McDow line as a user. The site provides free e-mail, with both e-mail chat and voice chat features. We can also post photos, GEDCOM files, as well as sharing notes and documents.

If you are interested in participating reply by e-mail to A user name and password will be e-mailed to you.
