I am looking for information on William C. McDow, born Oct 11, 1811 in Franklin County, Ga. Died Nov. 3, 1882 in Kansas. He married Elmira B. Brazil on Augist 30, 1832 in Abbeville Dist. South Carolina. They had children: Elenor P., Martha Sarah, Maary Jane, William Jasper, Maargaret E. R., John Thomas, Henrittea C. and Elmira. He was a missionary to the Indians in Kansas. Eventually several of his children joined him in Anderson County, Kansas. He donated the first school property in Greeley, Kansas.
