I am hoping that someone out there can help me. In May 1807 my ggggrandfather William(Billy)McDugle was born in Bath County, KY. About 1826 he shows up in Sangamon County IL.In 1827 he married Mary(Polly)White Minor daughter of Robert White and Esther McNabb. Billy died in 1879 and is buried in Lebanon Cemetery in Menard County IL.
Now to my dilemma: We cannot find who his parents were. He just appeared out of nowhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
