Hi Karon,

Glad to see you are still out there looking... I haven't done much with the family tree in a while. I was just scannning the boards to see if there was anything new out there.

If I remember correctly, Moses McDougle was in the 1820 census living in Pendleton County, SC and we know that Sarah McDougle (widow of Daniel McDougle) was living in Pendleton County in 1820 as well. I have long speculated that Moses was Daniel's brother.

I had contact with another researcher once that told me of Mary McDougle who was born around 1804 and married William Rider in the Pendleton, SC area. I can't recall right now if they were also in SC in 1820 but they later showed up in Habersham County or Union County along with "our" McDougles. I've speculated that Mary was related in some way to Daniel and Moses as well. But that's all it is... speculation.

I've also found information recently about our missing Susan McDougle, John Arch's sister.

E-mail me sometime and we can get caught up.
