My GGGGG fatther was John McDogall he Married Isobell Mcpherson 4 May 1794 Glasgow Lanark.Their 13th Child was Finlay born 10 July 1794 my GGGG Finlay Married Mary McIntyre They had a Son Hugh McDougall in 1814 Hugh my GGG married Agnes Mcbride 23 March 1840 in Middle parish Greenock They had Two Sons my GG Hugh Finlay Mcdougall born
30 October 1847 and his older Brother John who was born 31 March 1843 Greenock this is the one that I need help on .
John lived in Greenock Scotland until he was 18 years old (1860)he was a Mercyntyle Clerk and then all record of him ends ? , I think their is a good chance that he Emigratied as many ships left Greenock at this Time
