Looking for information on Flora McDougald and her husband Mark Branch Wilkes in Robeson County, NC. Mark Branch Wilkes' first wife was Ann McInnis and she was the mother of six children. Ann McInnis and Mark Branch Wilkes' children were:
Angus John Wilkes b. 1837
John A. Wilkes b. 1840
Neill Archie Wilkes b. abt. 1842
Mary Ann Wilkes b. abt. 1844
Sarah Wilkes b. 1846
William Christopher Wilkes b. 1850
Flora and Mark Branch Wilkes had no issue and they were apparently married between 10 March 1850 and 2 July 1860. Flora's father was Allen McDougald. Her sisters were Penelope, and Christian. Her brother is listed as H. W. McDougald. I have been unable to locate the burial sites for either Mark Branch Wilkes or Flora McDougald Wilkes. Family history states Mark B. Wilkes may be buried near Antioch, NC.
Any information on Flora McDougald and Mark Branch Wilkes (+ first wife Ann McInnis) would be greatly appreciated!
