I think I know of this family although the dates are not the same as yours.
John McDougal b. 1790 Aberdeen m Rosanna McAllister b. 1807 Keith, Banffshire (daughter of Ronald McAllister). I only know of 2 children - Margaret b. 1812 aberdeen and Euphemia b. 1816 keith, Banffshire.
Margaret married William McMillan (b. 1823 Kirkcudbright) in Perth on 12 Apr 1844 and had 11 children of which William was the 4th child b. 08 Jul 1853 Aberchirder, Banffshire. The family were stoneware merchants and for a while they lived in Huntly, Aberdeen shire where William MacMillan was Provost for a time.
I am almost certain that I am related to John McDougal b. 1790.
I would be very interested in sharing information with you.
