I now believe that Mary Ellen Kelly, born Aug 16, 1877 in Canada, and in Manhattan in 1880 may have married an O'Leary. Mary Ellen was the daughter of John T. Kelly, Irish comedian born in Boston, and Alice Davis from Canada. It is believed that Mary Ellen went to Ireland. I have seen numerous letters written by Mae McDonnell back to Canada from Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford in which she refers to her uncle Michael O'Leary and wanting more information about him. These letters were written in 1964 so think Mary Kelly may have married an O'Leary and her daughter Mae married a McDonnell. The timeframe indicates that Mary Kelly would have been 87 in 1964 and unlikely she was writing the letters. If anyone can help me with this puzzle, it would be appreciated.
