McDonald/McDonnell Cork City 1800-1900s

Hi,I have some info recently from army record of a Richard McDonnell.
Connections may be Cork Ireland,Richard born 1864 married Ellen Wilson in 1887Cork,
lived Blarney street cork around 1900?
Moved to Newcastle on Tyne area around 1920s??
Family,children,William Patrick,1901?then all children I know of born before him were,Richard Christopher,Mary ann,Maria kathleen,Ellie Margarette,Catherine,all born Cork???
Nellie McDonnell was a Witness to my grandads wedding so I really don't know if it was Ellen his mother ,or Ellie?his sister?Or even someone else??
He was married in Newcastle and Richard and Ellen McDonnell died in Newcastle 1932 and 1934.
The reason for the conection is also an in loving memory card in my mothers possesions for a Richard and Ellen McDonnell loving Father and Mother, all dates as above.
William my Grandad married Edith Dobson 1924-25 in Newcastle on Tyne, thats how I know by then that they were in Newcastle.
My William Patrick was then named McDonald on wedding certificate ,his father also McDonald? The Witness Nellie a McDonnell.
Thanks for any information anyone can give at all .
